Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, has chosen F&S Engraving, Inc., an award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to improve data transparency and analytics capabilities, cut costs, and streamline its operations.

Headquartered in Mount Prospect, Illinois, F&S Engraving manufactures cookie, cracker, and snack food dies for the food and beverage industry as well as industrial steel stamps and marking dies for the tool and die industry. Prior to partnering with Epicor, F&S Engraving relied on a homegrown system that failed to meet the needs of both business segments.

Finding the Sweet Spot

F&S Engraving’s homegrown system was unable to link the two distinct needs of operations of its two divisions. For example, the tool and die business has a different average scheduling job time than the bakery business, creating a need for the company to keep an even closer track of its jobs and create more realistic forecasting models to help ensure customer satisfaction.
