Philips Malaysia strengthens personalised consumer engagement with the third Brand Store in Malaysia

Philips Malaysia continues to strengthen its brand presence within the Klang Valley with the official launch of its second Brand Store in the Klang Valley at the Gardens Mall, Mid Valley City. Launched by Muhammad Ali Jaleel, Chief Executive Officer for Philips Malaysia together with Fuji Sartono, Head of Marketing for Philips Lighting Malaysia. The launch of this new Brand Store also seals Philips Malaysia’s official partnership with Plugins Distribution Sdn Bhd.

The Philips Brand Store offers a one-stop centre for customers to immerse themselves in a holistic shopping experience, giving them the chance to experience the full range of trusted and well-loved Philips’ products from the consumer, personal healthcare and lighting product portfolios. They are able to touch and feel the products, see and experience for themselves the key features as well as pose queries to the knowledgeable store personnel, allowing them to make an informed purchase.

“Today marks yet another milestone for Philips Malaysia with the expansion of our immersive brand experience within the Klang Valley with the opening of the Brand Store here in the Gardens mall. Over the past two years, we have achieved multiple milestones, kicking off with the opening of our first ever Philips Brand Store in Publika Shopping Gallery Kuala Lumpur in 2015. 2016 saw Philips expanding our presence in the Northern and Southern regions of Malaysia with the launch of the Penang Experiential Store and the Johor Bahru Brand Store,” said Muhammad Ali Jaleel, Chief Executive Officer for Philips Malaysia. “It is our brand promise to put the customers at the centre of all that we do. The expansion of our Brand Store network signifies our continued dedication to improving the lives of 3 billion people a year by 2025.”

“As a world leader in lighting, Philips continues to innovate to bring about brighter lives for a better world.  With Malaysians being quite sophisticated, they value home lighting and the shopping experience that can be personal and also complementary to their trendy lifestyles.  More homes and even home offices use lighting to define distinctive lifestyle concepts and identities.  The Philips Brand Store aims to unlock the value of light through an immersive shopper experience with advisory services for the right lighting solutions catering to diverse decorative and functional needs.  Over time, we see more innovative lighting applications and services will connect Malaysians at home, work and play.  Philips Lighting is already at the forefront of connected lighting, and light powering the Internet of Things is set to become pervasive here,” added Mr Alok Ghose, Managing Director for Philips Lighting in Malaysia and Singapore.
