Malaysia is 35th Best Country

Malaysia

Malaysia is the 35th “best country” in the world, down from 60 last year. Switzerland topped the second annual list of “Best Countries” ranking from U.S. News & World Report, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and global brand consultants BAV Consulting.

80 nations were measured for the 2017 report, up from 60 in the inaugural rankings last year. Each country was scored on attributes based on a collection of individual survey responses, and then the scores were normalized to account for outliers and transformed into a scale that could be compared across the board.

Attributes were grouped into nine sub-rankings: Adventure, Citizenship, Cultural Influence, Entrepreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Open for Business, Power and Quality of Life.
