The launch of B Infinite today reveals enhanced capabilities for the rewards program that ‘gives more than just rewards’. With the introduction of mobile payment, mobile powered consumers on the B Infinite rewards program now possess greater control and convenience over their own rewarding experience.
B Infinite builds on the success of BCARD, a member rewards program that quickly found success from its launch in 2011. To date, the program counts more than 5 million members, 80 merchants and over 4000 stores nationwide as part of its network.

B Infinite members can perform a partial redemption comprising of reward points and mobile payment for instore merchant purchases. This means that those ‘I want it and I want it now’ consumer moments can now be fulfilled in one frictionless transaction. And with the new mobile payment it gets even easier to use either reward points or charge to your card for transactions.
Greater control and convenience is apparent from members being able to transact at merchant stores with rewards as good as cash. In addition to this, they have the ability to manage their own omni-channel experience through B Infinite. For example, members can personalise the app through filtering merchant offers by category of interest.

Frictionless Transactions on B Infinite
Underpinning the success of the enhanced B Infinite rewards network is the partnership between leading technology partners Mastercard and Wirecard. Mobile payment is a key driver of m-commerce and the collaboration of two technology giants in the field of mobile payment will ensure frictionless transactions for both B Infinite merchants and members.
Enabling frictionless transactions will allow B infinite merchants such as Caltex, Chatime, Qualitas group, Berjaya Hotel group, Starbucks, 7Eleven, Lazada, Umobile, Kenny Rogers, and 11 Street to enhance their customer experience both online and offline, in stores.
Seamless, Secure and Speedy Shopping Experience With Masterpass
The rewards app will incorporate a payment function whereby Mastercard’s global digital payment service, Masterpass, is integrated within B Infinite’s mobile platform to allow consumers to make purchases swiftly and safely via the app.
“Today’s payments landscape is fast-evolving in line with consumers’ lifestyle demands for newer ways to pay. Innovation is central to ensure payment offerings address their needs for a frictionless payment experience and Masterpass is integral to this effort,” said Perry Ong, country manager, Malaysia and Brunei, Mastercard.
“By securely storing all payment information including Mastercard and other branded cards in one convenient place, Masterpass eliminates the need to enter the information with every purchase, hence simplifying and speeding up the checkout process with just a click, tap or touch be it for online or in-app purchases. Masterpass is currently accepted at a network of over 300,000 merchants internationally and we are excited to add Malaysia with this collaboration,” he added.
The rollout of Masterpass feature within B Infinite’s mobile platform will begin in Q1 2017.
