PSA: Due to the health and safety concerns with regards to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus, the organisers have decided to postpone both Megabuild and Keramika Indonesia to 1 – 14 June 2020.

With a growth rate of infrastructure spending of 21% in the first 5 years leadership of President Joko Widodo (2014-2019), the infrastructure and building construction program has had a significant effect on the national economic sector. Employment absorption, and an increase in new housing projects have succeeded in sustaining economic growth in the property sector in Indonesia. The effects of infrastructure development can be seen from the increasing number of commercial and retail buildings and also the increasingly prominent construction of infrastructure and public facilities built at tourism sites (such as the 10 New Bali project). In addition, the hospitality sector such as hotels and resorts as well as in the health sector such as hospitals also continue to grow in big cities and tourism locations that are prioritized by the government.

Megabuild Indonesia 2020 – Be Inspired, will be the 19^th most comprehensive exhibition for architecture, design and building materials. With the theme “Be Inspired”, the focus of this exhibition is to show trends, designs and the latest materials, pushing the architecture and interior design industry to a higher level, where the things mentioned earlier are the reasons why the visitors visit this exhibition * (results of a 3 years survey). This exhibition is co-located with Keramika Indonesia 2020 – The 9^th ASEAN’s only dedicated ceramic event.
