Plaza Premium Lounge announced the opening of its first ever airport pay-in lounge, a concept first of its kind, in East Malaysia. With airport lounges in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Low Cost Carrier Terminal in KLIA, Penang International Airport, Langkawi International Airport and Senai International Airport, it is the first time Plaza Premium Lounge is flying the concept eastward over to Sabah’s state capital, Kota Kinabalu.

The airport pay-in lounge in Kota Kinabalu International Airport will give all travelers an opportunity to enjoy premium lounge facilities without having to fly business or first class. These include the use of comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, a range of beverages and hot food, television, newspapers and magazines, shower booths and computer stations.

Located in the International Terminal, the new Plaza Premium Lounge is located directly after security for added convenience with a total size of 355-square-metres. It is open seven days a week.

Plaza Premium Lounge offers to make an airport stay as comfortable as possible, striving to make the avid flyer feel right at home. This is reflected in Plaza Premium Lounge’s classic-contemporary signature fourth generation design, as well as its food and beverage offerings – a selection of traditional Malaysian dishes, a vegetable medley, salads, porridge are served – an ever-changing menu, served with Java Coffee from Dankoff Cofee, a favourite among passengers.

Passengers can opt for a walk-in rate of RM128 (two hours), RM168 (five hours), or RM188 (10 hours), depending on the length of stay.

The lounge is akin to a haven, open to all travelers, where they are all able to benefit from the exclusive facilities, away from the airport crowd.
