GO Communications has been awarded the PR account by DSA Exhibition and Conference Sdn Bhd for Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2014, which marks the 14th show in the mega showcase of leading edge defence and security technology.

GO Communications will be working closely with DSA Exhibition and Conference Sdn Bhd and providing support to the Public Relations team of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) on publicising and promoting DSA 2014 as the Global Defence Services and Government Security Event.

GO Communications CEO, Michael de Kretser said, “It’s a great accolade to be appointed to such an important exhibition and conference in the industry which will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia”.

De Kretser added, “The DSA exhibition and conferences is recognised by the world defence and security industry as one of the world’s top five defence and security events”.

DSA works hand in hand with the Malaysian Government and the Ministry of Defence, Malaysia to organise the series of exhibitions and conferences.

The defence and security event is targeted for the Malaysian Armed Forces comprising the Army, Navy, Air Force, as well as the Police and other security agencies.

The expected trade visitors and participating companies at DSA 2014 includes; 1000 companies from 50 countries, over 25,000 trade visitors from 50 nations, over 300 delegations from more than 40 countries and 26 international Group pavilions.

The DSA exhibition and conference’s vital features include: Chief of Army Roundtable Talks, Humanitarian and Disaster Relief (HADR), Battlefield Healthcare, Police and National Security (cyber security), Defence Procurement Centre, Army Live Demonstration plus contracts and MOU signings.
