Over 300 retailers to participate in SParK 2019
More than 300 entrepreneurs, especially those involved in the retail sector, are expected to participate in the National Retail Symposium (SParK) 2019 at the KL Convention Centre on 24 October. Themed, “Reinventing Retail”, the symposium aims to increase the entrepreneurs’ awareness and understanding of the current revolution of the retail industry as well as the business world in general, said Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd (PUNB) in a statement today.

Chief executive officer Izwan Zainuddin said the symposium will feature digital economy experts and retail industry players from various organisations and agencies such as Subture Creative Agency, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC), AirAsia Bhd, Lazada Malaysia and DR Group. “Among other things, the symposium will discuss the future and technological developments in the nation’s retail industry and business opportunities in the digital economy. “Participants will also be able to find solutions for their business problems by learning from experts and take the opportunity to expand their network for business collaborations,” it said.

One of the highlights of the event is an awards presentation ceremony to the winners of the Excellent Entrepreneur Award, Best Entrepreneur Award, Female Entrepreneur Award, Young Entrepreneur Award and Successful Entrepreneur Award.
