The Bumiputera Agenda Steering Unit (Teraju) has outlined five key thrusts in its Bumiputera Economic Transformation Roadmap 2.0 (BETR 2.0) to boost the Bumiputera economy for the next five to six years.

Its Senior Director of Business and Entrepreneurship Development, Megat Mohd Yatim Megat Hamid, said the areas were education and human capital, employment and income, corporate equity, entrepreneurship and non-financial assets. “This is in line with the objectives of BETR 2.0 which are wealth creation, to increase Bumiputera participation in the high valued-added sector and accelerate Bumiputera companies’ growth,”.
